How it works

The QR code uses the standard Wi-Fi format that iPhones and Android phones understand natively. Your guest points their camera at the sign, taps the notification, and they're online. No hunting for the router, no reading a password off a sticker, no "is that a zero or the letter O?" messages at 10pm.

Everything happens in your browser — your network name and password are never sent to any server. Print the sign, put it somewhere visible (fridge doors work great), and you've answered the most common guest question before it's asked.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work with all phones?

Any iPhone since iOS 11 (2017) and virtually every Android phone can join a Wi-Fi network by scanning a QR code with the built-in camera app. No extra app needed.

Is it really free?

Yes. No signup, no watermark tricks, no trial. It's a free tool from Staycard, a digital guest page for vacation rentals.

What if I change my Wi-Fi password?

You'll need to print a new sign — the password is encoded in the QR code itself. If that bothers you, a Staycard guest page shows your current Wi-Fi details behind one QR code you never have to reprint.

Wi-Fi is just the first question.
