These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Staycard ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website (staycard.co) and our digital property guide services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
Staycard lets property hosts create digital guest guides — house rules, WiFi details, check-in instructions, and local recommendations — accessible to their guests via a QR code or link, with no app download required.
Your Account
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Subscriptions & Billing
- The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
- Payments are processed securely by our Merchant of Record; we do not store your card details.
- You may cancel at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Your Content
You retain full ownership of the content you upload — property details, images, instructions, and recommendations. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to host and display it solely to provide the Service (for example, showing your guide to your guests). You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to distribute unlawful, misleading, or harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Resell, copy, or reverse-engineer the Service without our written permission.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Upon termination, your guest guides will no longer be accessible.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to keep Staycard reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
